Construction and Civil Engineering IoT Concrete Curing Monitoring System
Practical SDGs! Architecture and Civil Engineering IoT Cloud Services
■Quality improvement support system to enhance the durability of concrete through appropriate temperature and humidity management in curing spaces■ This system continuously measures the temperature inside the concrete, the temperature and humidity within the curing mat (concrete surface), and the temperature and humidity of the outside air for 24 hours. It activates an alarm light when thresholds are exceeded and can also send email notifications. By adding functionality to control mist sprayers and heaters triggered by the acquired temperature and humidity data, it is possible to automate and reduce labor in on-site operations. ■Measurement data utilized for non-destructive testing methods to estimate concrete strength■ In addition to compressive strength tests of concrete core specimens, there is a non-destructive strength estimation method called the "Maturity Method," which estimates concrete compressive strength by measuring the internal temperature during the curing process and calculating the accumulated temperature. Accumulated temperature is expressed as the product of curing time and curing temperature, and maturity refers to the relationship between accumulated temperature and concrete compressive strength. The data measured by this system can be used to calculate concrete compressive strength using the Maturity Method. ▶▶▶For more details, please download the PDF◀◀◀
